Intro

My name is James Carter and I am a web developer with over seven years of experience. I work with Umbraco CMS on a daily basis, and I love it.

However, working with Umbraco is not without its challenges. Sometimes, I encounter some pretty interesting and complex issues that require some creative solutions.

With that in mind, I decided to start this blog to share my (often niche) experiences with Umbraco and the methodology and tooling I use to get things done. I hope that by doing so, I can contribute to the Umbraco community and help other developers who might face similar problems.

What will I blog about?

In this blog, I will write about various topics related to Umbraco CMS, such as:

  • Installing, configure, and customize Umbraco
  • Developing packages for Umbraco
  • How to troubleshoot and debug Umbraco issues and errors
  • Ways to optimise and secure your Umbraco websites
  • Umbraco release and versioning information
  • My open source packages

How can you get involved?

I would love to hear from you, my fellow Umbracians. If you have any questions, comments, feedback, or suggestions, please feel free to contact me. You can also follow me on social media, subscribe to my blog, and share my posts with your friends and colleagues.

I hope you enjoy reading my blog and find it useful and informative.
